histiocytoma on toe
Louie has one on his foot and after a needle biopsy, it is determined to be a histiocytoma.....
the options were MCT or histiocytoma, and I told the vet, no MCT's, we're not doing that......after Junior had them popping up like weeds
so the vet says it could take 1-3 months to go away on it's own, it will get redder and flatten out
any experiences with these things?

Re: histiocytoma on toe
Rhoda used to get those, probably about 5 of them during the course of a few years. Only one had to be surgically removed -- it was sprouting between her toes and the vet said it was wrapping around tendons or bone or something (can't remember the exact details, it was more than 10 years ago). The others went away on their own.

Re: histiocytoma on toe
Bella had a wart that was between the toes, and we had it removed so the vet could test to see if it was a MCT. After test he called it a wart. I told Bella she had a STD on her foot... It was bugging her so she was chewing/licking her foot. Either way I would have had it removed.
