For those of you that use TOTW which flavor do you prefer? I have gotten a bunch of sample bags from the store down the road and both lilo and stitch like the Wild Boar one.

Pretty much our entire rescue of Pugs is on TOTW. My Lilo & Midnight and three fosters love all the different proteins. I switch them up every other bag. They've had them all and I've had no problems with any of them.

Penny goes between TOW and Earthborn. I do what Chris does, and when I've gone through all of one brand's protein varieties, I switch to the other brand. Right now, she's on the TOW lamb, and she likes all flavors of both brands. I'd say give them the one that they seem to like the best, and change the proteins every couple of bags. Oh, and by the way, I'm having Stitch and Lilo picture withdrawal symptoms.........

I stopped using it once it got recalled, but used the fish based one when I did use it.

What did you switch to Blanche? I have a foster coming in on Saturday (first new foster in over a year!!). I need to get something for him. Reports from his owner is that he has sensitivities to food and can 'only' eat the lamb and rice from Costco.

From what I read, the recall didn't extend to the bags we got up here in Alaska. I use the buffalo dry food for most of the gang.

The buffalo is a 5-star rated dog food by the Dog Food Advisor: http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/

I use the fish version for Bozlee- he has weird allergies. I've used the lamb, but they really love the buffalo.

Does anyone else think the pics on the bags are creepy? Showing wolves stalking sheep, or buffalo, etc.? Taste of the Wild 6260

I fed Marlee TotW until the recall, then switched to Earthborn. The pet food store in my new neighborhood doesn't carry Earthborn, so we're back to TotW when I'm not able to drive across town. (The TotW recall didn't affect California, but I switched anyway.)

Can't really say that Mars prefers one protein source over another. Typical pug, she inhales them all. I rotate through the varieties, buying a different one each time. She does equally well on all of them.

Renee--I now use Orijen, Acana, or Fromm's. Sometimes Merricks, but not often.

Well, the guy either has some allergies or eating cheap food. I bought him the Wellness Simple Solutions for now.

When I'm in the shop and helping folks find a flavor and they ask "how do I know which is which?" I say "look at the animal that's being killed by the wolves" lol Wink
