Doggie Diapers

Post  LisaIzzyAggy on 2/19/2013, 3:23 pm

Aggy is beginning to lose control of when her pee's stop and start. She's ok when I'm away in their room because they are semi-confined and I have a crappy rug under them that I'm not worried about. However when I'm home and she has the run of the place I'm finding a lot of accidents. As much as I hate my carpet, I can't afford to replace it so I'm thinking some type of dog diaper. Does anyone have experience with them? Can you recommend a brand? Can I just buy the underwear you use on a bitch in heat?

After Kim raved about the diaper she got for Wendi, I ordered a pair for Peachy. They stay on so well, if you can get over the $40 price tag. www.peekeeper.com

Bella has the same problem, though it does help if I express her bladder to make sure that she's empty when we go outside. I keep these Pet Edge diapers on her in the house, just to be safe though: http://www.petedge.com/product/Training-Control/Pet-Training-Aids/Incontinence/Clean-Go-Pet-Female-Pup-Pants/pc/196/c/237/sc/464/51556.uts . They seem to fit & stay on the best.

I have three peekeepers and LOVE them! It has saved my sanity. The only problem I was having is Dewey kept getting stuck to the carpet from the velcro while I was gone. So now he has a belly bad around the peekeeper and it works well. I put human bladder control pads in it and they work well and catch a lot.
