Pet Food Stamps
I don't know if you saw this in the news but this is a pretty cool idea. A fellow in NY has started a non-profit providing free pet food to those who are at or below the poverty line. I interviewed him for this article and he is an awesome man...only 36. He has big plans for this concept and I hope it works out for him.
I like that he is selling specified advertising to pay for administrative costs so you don't have to worry that your monetary donations will be going toward huge salaries or advertising.
Here is my coverage of it on Examiner.com

North Texas Pet Food Bank
We have the North Texas Pet Food Bank here. The Paw Depot just donated 500 lbs of ffod to them, and we try to keep the donations up by offering promos to customers who donate. These guys do an excellent job!
