Today my mamma found a lump right between my ears and little baby welts on my forehead. We frantically went to the vet and 8:00 am they said they really aren't sure maybe an allergic reaction, since i am 3 they said chances of it being a tumor is rare, so they said keep up the benadryl and take prednisone for a week an apply a hot compress. Still, mamma is VERY worried and can't relax. Please pray for us-

I've had a couple of my foster dogs get bitten by a spider or eat something and they welted up. Going to the vet was a good idea, but likely the benadryl with square things away. If it's an allergic reaction, it should clear up quickly.

Hope that's all it was! You did the right thing. Hopefully as I type the bumps and welts are disappearing fast.

Which one of my sweet girls got into a fight with a bug??? I bet it was the black Diva Sophie.

Sudden lumps and welts are usually an allergic reaction and we know the girls don't get along with bees. Benedryl and steroids are the usual treatment and they should go away soon. Call me if you need anything and give the girls a hug from me.
