Green Cleaning products
Just thought I'd post about these two cleaning products that I've been using with good success with my animal crew. Tank reacts to many, many products--including borax and some vinegars--so I've been trying to find something that will clean AND kill germs and not set him off.
The Gloves Off I've found in our local Home Depot. The Orange A Peel I found in a PetsMart. I'm more careful with the orange stuff as it is highly concentrated and potentially harmful if swallowed, etc. But so far, they have done a great job and Tank is reaction free. I've also used the Gloves Off to wash peed on rugs, etc.

Always happy to pass along the things I learn from trial and error. The Gloves Off stuff does smell like Thyme. The Orange stuff, no surprise, smells like oranges. I do find the orange stuff will settle in the bottom of whatever I'm using to dilute it with (over time) so usually have to shake it before using the mixture.ocnside wrote:Thank you...you taught me yet more

I use all natural products for cleaning, laundry, etc. It is called Melaleuca. Their vitamins are great!

Ungreen heathen that I am I have never really gone for eco-friendly products, but I certainly would if it were for my pugs! I do do green-friendly things like recycle and other bits and pieces, but I'm a bit lazy in other areas.
Good to know about the effect on dogs.

I've been using Mrs Meyers for a while now for general cleaning. I think I'm just addicted to the smells. I do my best to stay away from petroleum products (especially with my lovely cancer genes).
