Amanda found this great website that sells amazing chocolates and proceeds to go rescue groups. It's called Rescue Chocolate. http://www.rescuechocolate.com/

They also have two easy ways for your own rescue to register and raise funds. The first is the traditional fundraiser where you buy at their wholesale price and re-sell for whatever you want, keeping the difference. The second, and even easier, is to just write in the name of the rescue whenever someone places an order -- for that, the rescue gets $1.00 for every bar sold. Below is the email I received from the company when I emailed them. Just wanted to pass the info along!

For rescue organizations, having Rescue Chocolate on hand helps in two major ways. The first, most obvious way is as a fundraiser. It's an incredibly good treat for humans that supports your group's efforts. The second, but equally important thing it does is raise public awareness about some of the main homeless pet issues. Each flavor corresponds to an issue that, with greater public awareness, could really create change.

What we offer is a special wholesale rate for the chocolates. Order as many (or as few) as you like and then sell them at adoption events, fundraisers, outreach, partner pet stores, anywhere! You pick the selling price, and then the rescue
keeps all of the revenue for its programs. And because each flavor corresponds to an important homeless pet issue, you'll be helping to raise public awareness about these vital points.

We can put your group's logo or name on the chocolate when you order more than 100 bars at a time!

This is a
link to our rescue wholesale price sheet, but feel free to call me to get more details if you're unclear or want to discuss ideas.

We also have a new way to help your group directly.

Just urge your members/clients to check out Rescue Chocolate. If they place an order online, they can type the name of your rescue organization into the "message" box at checkout. For every bar that they purchase, your organization will receive $1 back from Rescue Chocolate. We will mail you a check with the proceeds at the end of every month [or every 3 months, depending on how much money there is to send].

So, get the word out... and get the cash back!!

Your questions/comments are welcome. Best,

Sarah Gross, Founder and President
