I saw on FB that after the town planners or whoever makes the decisions was drowning in protests, they are reversing the decision to approve. After Susan G. Komen and this, it shows what can be achieved when people speak up!

I hadn't heard they reversed it. I certainly hope so! This is next door to my home town.

I pray your right Rona and they did get it reversed!!! I thought we were making a bit of head way with public education about mills, then to receive this......my stomach just started turning reading the article.

I believe with all my heart if all rescues stand TOGETHER as one and continue to educate we can stop new mills from opening!!!

I don't know if it is 100% reversed but people are fighting it. Sadly they will probably just move it to another small town in NY.

I saw on Facebook that it had been nixed too. I think it was one of the puppymill awareness groups that posted about it. I certainly hope they're right!

The guy actually had the nerve to say it wasn't about the money, it was for the dogs. What a moron. Anybody who would believe this should not be allowed to reproduce!
