Thoughts are with you and Gabriel. It's so rotten that he's been dealt this hand. I know you've made his final days as special as possible. I'll light a candle for him tomorrow. There will be a committee of pugs waiting to greet him as he crosses over. Poor boy.

He was dealt a crappy hand. And it wasn't fair. He's such a gorgeous boy. I'm glad he got to spend a few days with you, and that he got to play a little. I'll be thinking of him tomorrow, and I'll hug my own pugs tonight and let them know how lucky they are.

Crying or Very sad I'm so sorry Blanche. I'll be thinking of you both tomorrow.

I know in the time he has been with you, he's certainly known love. It's crappy of course but you're doing right by him and he'll no longer be struggling to breathe.

Thank you for giving him the peace he so well deserves.
I cannot bring myself to watch the play video, but I am sure he enoyed it. Gabriel, darling, you will be able to run and leap and play all day at the Bridge!

Blanche, I have always admired your ability to make decisions in these cases without letting the emotions I know are tearing you apart, interfere. I know how difficult it is to do so when you have these little guys there and how easy it would be to let the emotional response takeover, but the emotional response serves noone but ourselves and these decisions have to be made with no consideration over than the best interests of the dog. He's lucky to spend his final days with you because I know they will probably be the most loving and best-cared for days he's ever spent.

Here's to you, little Gabriel.

At least he'll remember your love when he leaves. So very very sorry. Rescue sucks so many times. Thankyou for being there for him.

Thank you for showing Gabriel the love and care every being deserves. Thank you for making the hard decision.

Goodbye Gabriel, run free.

A candle is lit in Abingdon.
