knee arthritis for my 7 year old Pugsy
slight limp whrn getting up from laying down. my vet prescribed an anti inflammatory and after a week he's somewhat better but still has a slight limp. Has anyone tried lubrisyn? I heard it may help arthritis. He is also a little over weight so I've got him on a diet hoping that will help. Any suggestions?

Never used or even heard of Lubrisyn. I've used Cartrophen with reasonable success. Getting the weight off will make a big difference. Do you know if he has patellar luxation in his knees? That would increase his risk for arthritis, especially if he's overweight.

I agree with Blanche on checking his patella. The very best wishes for a treatment that works.
