Cooper's Happy Tail
Hopefully, the link will work for you. The other pug in the pictures is Bugsy who is 11 years old. His folks adopted him from us a year ago.
I got rid of the link since it's not working, but posted a cute pic of Coop and his new mom lower down in this thread....

Dang. Worked for me, but then I'm pretty much permanently logged in.
I think you can go to pugalug as a guest and see the pics. They are in the pics and videos section......

This picture pretty much sums it up. He left without a backward glance at me and has been smiling his little pug face off ever since. That's Coop and his new mom.

I just love happy endings!! And, I really do love it when they don't look back. It makes is a lot easier to let them go.

Re: Cooper's Happy Tail
I think if they looked back, I would wonder if it was really meant to be the forever home. I had two of my former fosters check in with my constantly during our last Pug-O-Ween. Peter, the pug with the broken leg and JoJo (now Rudy) followed me around and licked my legs. It is always sweet when they remember me. Coop looks so thrilled.Brenda wrote:I just love happy endings!! I think he's saying "Thanks foster mum, I've got it from here!". Bless his little heart.

Me too, that's always an extra nice feeling! It makes you feel like they understand you were helping them along on their journey and now they are going home.

The pug in the back is Coop's new brother, Bugsy who is 11 and was also one of our rescues. Bugsy is very much mom's dog and Coop has decided to 'own' dad. Works out perfectly for everyone.
