Funny Side of Tilly's Surgery Empty Funny Side of Tilly's Surgery

Post  sallyandtilly 7/13/2009, 5:54 pm

Both of Tilly's vets can not believe she had that in her stomach for about 10 months. One of the vets is going to compile the info and do a paper on it. He'll send it in and if it's published, they will pay him. He said the money will be mine.

Another funny. Both the vets think I should plant the peach seed in my yard. Now why on earth would I do that? Can you imagine Tilly eating the peaches?

I definitely wouldn't be planting it. I don't even think I'd have another peach in my house after all of this. I hope the story is published, I'm sure all of this wasn't cheap and the money would be appreciated!

That's very cool about the Vet's decision to write about Tilly's experience. Planting it.....no, but I posted on her post surgery thread that I have the BB that came out of Charles'.

Another funny thing. Dr Paul said if there is a peach pit in there, he would eat his left shoe. I told Dr Jim that Dr Paul better be walking around there shoeless.

Oh I see the update here, I hope he gets published and you get some money to pay the bill.

A peach pit to cause all this? My goodness!

How is the little gal now?

Man! The things you miss when you get home late from work and catch all the updates at once! I'm so glad that she has that mean old pit out of there. At least when Jackson ate the dish towel, I knew that it was a blockage and what it was and it was within a few days of him eating it. I'm so sorry that you and Tilly have been going through all this, and I"m very glad that it's finally over! Drinking

Right now she feels terrible. Vet said she'll feel like a bus hit her. He just called by the way to check on her. She looks so pathetic.

Awww I'm sorry to hear that, I guess that is expected. CP felt AWFUL after her spay and I think going into the intestines is more invasive.

I hope they sent her home on pain meds and she is feeling better in a day or two.

I think you should try and get that peach pit growing in a planter and then present it to the vet for planting on their property! I could be a special "memento" of the occassion!!!
