YIKES! Wow. I'm glad that she's doing well, and that the wretched thing is finally OUT!
Will she come home tonight or stay over?
So glad she's now on the mend!

OH MY GOD! It was the peach pit! How on earth did it stay in there all this time.
I am so glad she is recovering well. Tell her not to scare us again and then give her a BIG hug for me!

Good grief, I can't believe it hasn't caused her problems before now. I sure hope she is on the road to recovery and home really soon. I know how worried you must be.

Re: Tilly is out of surgery
I'm just now seeing this. Glad she made it through surgery safely. Can't believe that thing has been sitting in her tummy all this time. Poor little girl. It is a very invasive surgery, so be prepared for her to be in pain for a few days. Makayla had surgery for a blockage that wasn't very invasive (since when they opened her, they discovered it really wasn't a blockage just a pooling of the barium), so hers was just open and shut and it was her most painful surgery. She was MISERABLE that night. Just to give you a heads up. Oh and her tummy around the incision bruised something awful - she looked just terrible.
I do hope Tilly is back to her usual happy self soon.

Thanks for the heads up. Not looking forward to the next few days.

So glad it's out!! We have a peach tree, and it's the biggest pain in our sides-we have to always search the yard to make sure there are no peaches low enough for the pugs to get. I hate it!
Re: Tilly is out of surgery
That's amazing! Who knew a peach pit could stay in there for so long. Hope that Tilly has a speedy recovery.

I'm so glad she's out of surgery and okay. Did you ask if the peach pit still looked like a peach pit? Maybe you could get it bronzed.

Re: Tilly is out of surgery
Agter 9 1/2 months, I'm surprised she didn't have a peach tree in there!
I wonder why it decided to become a problem now? Was it in her stomach all of this time and just entered her small intestines? It is simply an amazing story. I'm so glad things went well and give her lots of love during recovery.
BTW, I have the BB that was found in Charles' leg in my possession but I never kept the piece of beach thong (shoe) that blocked Scoundrel's intestine. Had I knows, I would've started a collection - or a web site "Thinks IN your pet". :)

Wow! That's still a peach pit. I would have thought that it would have broken down some. There's probably a science experiment in there somewhere, we've got the results.

OMG. What a saga. That peach pit is resiliant and so is Tilly.
SOOOO glad its all over! And hope Tilly is resting comfortably.

How wild!!! I am so glad she's out of surgery and hopefully things will be looking up for all of you soon.
I think you need to plant that peach pit in the FRONT yard, away from Tilly, as a memento.
I can't believe that thing was still so intact.

Re: Tilly is out of surgery
I've been keep my husband up to date on Tilly's story. When he got hoe tonight, I updated him on the surgery and the findings. When I told him it was the peach pit, vintage September 2008, his respinse was a darkly humorous as mine. He said "WOW! Did it take root?"
How is the little frankengirl tonight? I hope she is happy to be home without her pit.

She is not feeling so hot now. She's drugged and been sleeping. I tried to get her to potty(vet's suggestion), but she's too wobbly. I'm going to sleep down here with her tonight so I can tell if she needs pain meds.
