Jackson Does NOT Have Crystals!

It's official! For the first time since about 2005, Jackson had a normal urinalysis!!!! No struvite crystals (which he always has, even in absence of infection), no red or white blood cells, nothing that wasn't supposed to be there! The nasty s/d food that he's been on, plus the 2 antibiotics, have done what they've supposed to! He still has one more week on Clavamox, and the vet extended his Baytril for 2 more weeks, but so far, everything is looking great.

The vet wants to keep him on the s/d for 2 more weeks and then alternate a month of l/d and a month of s/d, pretty much indefinitely. I'm sure that at some point, we'll do another urinalysis to make sure that's looking good, and that we'll do some more blood work to make sure that his liver function stays under control.
