eye removal
My daughter's old German Wirehaired Pointer, Sadie, had her eye removed Sat. due to increased glaucoma levels (47). She is back home now, very sleepy & we're hoping it's from the pain medication. Her other eye pressure was just 9 and hopefully it will stay low. So it's fine so far, just hope she can be with Carol a few more years.

Glad all went well and Sadie is home resting. Prayers for her to have many more good years with those who love her.

Sadie
Thanks to you all. She is a Humane Society rescue, adored Carol from the first moment she saw her (& vice versa). She's a leaner, leans against your legs and looks up adoringly, wagging her stubby tail. We will always wonder why such a nice dog was never claimed unless she didn't make it as a hunter and they just dumped her. She's Carol best friend and everyone in our family loves her.

Re: eye removal
There are so many wonderful dogs in rescue - most of them there from the economy these days. So very sad. But that is a whole 'nother rant.
