Not a terrible food, frankly. BUT it does have rice which is a grain and I've found a lot of dog react to salmon. Two of mine did/do.

I'd go totally grain free and see if that helps. Might try duck or venison formula--there are some good ones out there.

Having said that if the switching to totally grain free doesn't help (and it could take a couple of weeks) then you'd have to do an elimination diet--there's a writeup on how to do that on this forum. And some dogs have seasonal allergies. One of mine does.

I'm with Blanche, if you're seeing allergy issues I'd go completely grain free.
If you want to stick with fish-based you could try Wellness Core Ocean. If not, there are plenty of good grain free options with other protein sources.

Yep, Becky and Blanche are both right.

Try getting off all grains, and even switching to a different protein. I know many people think canned food is "fatty", but actually it is more nutritious than kibble, and there are some really good canned food options.

Remember, most important - when you are trying to establish a food that works, you need to cut out absolutely all food and treats except for the one food you are feeding. And, it can take a few weeks to see some change. Unless your dog has an immediate negative reaction.

Good luck! Many, many of us have dealt with allergies.
