Rescues in the MD area? Empty Rescues in the MD area?

Don't ask me what part, it can't be that big of a state?

I have a photographer friend that asked me about getting a pug and asked me about rescue. I don't know if she is a good fit for rescue, but which ones are in that area?

Any other advice for someone looking for a pug in that area?

SEPRA? MAPR? Hope she's close enough to get one from either!

MAPR, definitely. There used to also be MD Pug Rescue, but they closed.

She has a cat, so I don't know if she can get a rescue :( I know we couldn't. Darn.

I will still tell her to check them out.

MAPR doesn't discriminate against cat owners, and whether a particular dog is cat-friendly is included on the web site, if we know one way or the other. It's worth a shot!

Good to know, I will pass on the info. I know she isn't ready right this minute, but is starting to do her research and I always like to encourage rescue when it's possible and a good fit :)

Thanks!
