Anyone feed Wellness Core? Empty Anyone feed Wellness Core?

I have been a fan of Wellness since I started learning about the good, the bad and the ugly of dog food. I started Murphy on Eukanuba (I had no clue back then) and switched him to Wellness chicken. At some point, the chubster was switched to the light. When Duke came, he was on Eukanuba and I moved him to the chicken. Now both of my boys are are the small breed bites.

I was at a rescue event and I got samples of the core. I tried the turkey and the lamb in with their small bites and they love it. I'm thinking I may either switch them completely over to a Core or mix it in.

Anyone have any feedback on this?

(I'm also a fan of the Simple Solutions and have used that with my fosters with a lot of success.)

Tyson eats the Wellness Core Ocean. He really likes it and I'm happy with it too. He had allergy problems with foods that had chicken, turkey, duck etc...so the Core Ocean is perfect because it has no chicken fat or anything for flavoring or whatever they use it for, it's all fish based.
There was another fish based food I was considering, Before Grain Salmon formula, but it uses chicken fat.
They also have canned version of each of the Core formulas which is nice if he needs to eat soft food for whatever reason.

My boys have never eaten a fish-based food. I wonder how they would do on it. Murphy can be itchy, but the we've looked at his skin and the vet thinks it's his harness that he doesn't like on.

I may start putting flax seed oil on his food again. I have no idea why I stopped.

Fish is the first food I try with a dog with allergy issues--generally fewer allergic reactions to fish (although shellfish can be an issue)

Careful with flaxseed, it is a grain and I have two dogs that react to it. I use wild salmon oil or coconut oil.
