Today is Angus' 9th Gotcha Day. I'll never forget how excited we were on the drive up to Phoenix to meet him and his foster parents. We brought Calvin along and as soon as they touched noses, they were off, exploring the yard, peeing on things together, smelling the good smells of the air near the horse stables.

My sister was with us too, and she sat with the two boys in the back seat as we made our way home. Unfortunately, the car started to break down and it ended up taking us over 4 hours in the Arizona heat to get home. My sister kept Angus cool all the way, giving him little cool water baths. They really bonded that day.

Every day has been a joy with my puggie boy. I love him dearly, and though watching him slowly become disabled has been difficult, it has taught me so much about myself, about love, and about responsibility.Angus (certainly a happy ending) 335895

AND he brought me here to you all, and that's pretty amazing too. Angus (certainly a happy ending) 27965

Unsure of how old he was. I think between 2 and 4. So we just say he is 12.
Today is his "birthday" and we are going to give him some poached chicken. He has a sensitive stomach so he can't have a birthday hamburger like Calvin does. Angus (certainly a happy ending) 212522
