Bear cant poop
Poor thing has been shifting uncomfortably since 7am. His tummy is rock hard and he's yelped twice now when I've touched him. You can tell he's gotta go but just can't. He's had this happen a few times before and he eventually just goes. Should I be concerned?

Do you have any pumpkin? I would be concerned but I am a worry wort. If this has happened before than maybe wait it out for a bit and see, if not off to the vet.

Of course the first thing I think of is a blockage. If it's happened before, I would be less worried. Do you think a nice walk would help things move along?

The rock hard tummy would concern me. Do you have a vet you can call?

He's had it happen before and within an hour or so it passes. Well it hasn't this time and he yelps when he walks up or down the stairs. I'm almost wondering if its his back but he was jumping and moving around fine this morning.

Rock hard tummy, yelping when touched or walking? I would head to the vet. Especially since he just had his teeth cleaned a few days ago. I think the anesthetic can cause constipation?
Pumpkin, like Donna said, is good for constipation. Other than that, he should only have water, no food.

Dayna, the yelping, hard tummy, and not pooping were all the same stuff hooli had with his back. It came on suddenly, he didn't want to go up the stairs to the sofa and then screamed. We first thought tummy issues too, since he is prone to them. Hope he feels better soon!

I hope he's okay. I'd probably get him to the vet, too. The yelping would especially worry me. Hopefully it's just a case of constipation and the vet can give him something to get things moving.

We have poop! We still have stiffness and yelped again. I'm thinking its his back.

Poor Bear! Yes, might be his back and that was what was stopping him from pooping - assuming the position was painful. Trip to the vet is in order, in the meantime - cage rest. Hope my Bear is okay!

Yup! This was a secondary worry with Hooli's back-he wouldn't poop because it hurt. Luckily the pain pills helped him after a couple of days. Hope he's better soon!

Vet visit tomorrow if he's no better in the am. Hubs has to carry him up and down the stairs. And he is such a busy body he won't stay still.
