Okay so Dumpling has a ton of allergy issues, we are still narrowing them down. Her nose fold smelled terrible, it had black gunk in it and was hairless but never red or irritated. My regular vet didn't know what it was. I read and asked questions here and on PV and thought it was yeast. I used 10 days of otomax left over from her last ear infection right in the fold along with tweeking her diet and then a visit to the doggy derm three weeks ago, he gave me Douxo wipes for her pyroderma and nose folds. Her pyroderma is gone and her nose fold has hair it it and it actually smells good! She isn't itching her nose fold on the hearth bricks anymore Very Happy

I know we have a ways to go, but today we are celebrating a small victory...no more yeast and new nose fold hair!!! woohoo!!!!

Well done on being creative in her treatment - just goes to show what thinking outside the box can do!

Good for you! These pug allergies can drive a person to drink.
