Absolutely!!! Sounds like he got amazingly lucky - and so did they.
...even if he did not get a Doxie Playmate to inspire him :-)
Re: Home visit for Gregory
Well, they will be changing his name to ......wait for it......Tanzing.
Tanzing was the name of Edmund Hilary's Sherpa guide and climbing partner. Can't say I'm jazzed about the name, but hey, I often change my new dogs names so who am I to gripe.
They decided that given his agility/leaping and climbing abilities, a sherpa name made sense.

Me, too. I'm going to bawl my eyes out, but this a good home for him and I'm so tired of living on the second floor with three dogs--one of whom really wants to play and have fun--this is a win-win for everyone.Milosmom wrote:Yaaaay. I'm so happy for Gwegoreee

Oh, good for Gwegowee. And he will always be Gwegowee as far as I am concerned!

Way to go! They sound like a fantastic home. Congratulations!
It sucks when a foster has what we consider a perfectly lovely name and the people go and change it to something else, either pedestrian or eccentric. My former foster Fletcher is now known as "Buddy." Yawn!

LOL--well, I wasn't charmed with Gregory when he first came, but it grew on me. And at least this is a unique name and not some stupid little dog name like Fluffy.SacramentoPugs wrote:Way to go! They sound like a fantastic home. Congratulations!

I left him at his new home sprawled on his back on his new dad's lap.......
