Good Resources on Home Cooked? Empty Good Resources on Home Cooked?

Post  MandyPug 9/2/2011, 4:47 pm

A friend of mine is battling some possible auto immune issues with her dog (in the form of split paw pad disease) and is wanting to go to home cooked in about a month. She's not ready to go full raw, just isn't sure about it and that's okay.

So i was wondering if any of you have any good websites or books to share that are good for learning about home cooking for dogs.

Thanks in advance guys :)

One online source: www.dogaware.com

Awesome book: Raw and Natural Nutrition for Dogs, by Lew Olsen. Don't let the name fool you - it is not all raw. It has sections on home cooking too. I used it for my foster Winston. He did eventually go to an all raw diet, but the book is invaluable.
