Doggy stroller recommendations?
Wasn't sure where to put this thread as its not necessarily a medical thing...but figured it was close enough. Dear Vince is not into walking so much any more - luckily we have a yard now so I'm not carrying his lazy butt around the block like I used to have to (I love his lazy butt so I can call it that)...but I would like him to get more fresh air in hopes it helps with the sleep issues caused by his CDS. Hey I just made it a medical issue !
Seen folks use everything from the cheapest (not interested) to the super blinged out (not affordable). Looking for a recommendation on one that's good for dogs that like to sit up not lay down and that's pretty sturdy as it will be out in all kinds of weather here in New England (pushing him around the block is my excuse to get some exercise no matter what the weather is like).
Thanks in advance,
Lisa and lazy a** Vince

Re: Doggy stroller recommendations?
I bought this for Mr. Toby Love Jones this summer.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003JT8OF2/ref=oh_o05_s00_i00_details
It's made for a human child, but it fits our needs perfectly. The seat part reclines, but does not lay flat. Toby seems to enjoy being chauffered around in it. I cut off all the straps that are intended to keep the human kiddo from climbing out. We use it on fairly rough terrain, so the 'bike' tires were what I was looking for. I love the way it handles.

Grace's main stroller is similar to this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kyjen-Walk-N-Roll-Top-Flap-Pet-Dog-Puppy-Cat-Stroller-OH00646-Blue-/250928249946?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a6c7d3c5a
Her travel stroller is like this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Travel-Lite-Dog-Stroller-Ocean-Blue-/260740666499?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item826404cbc0
I can't say how either of her strollers do on different terrains, since we use hers indoors at events or in the airport, but I like both of her strollers - they've held up well over the years.

Re: Doggy stroller recommendations?
I have had two in my past (I used them doing pet therapy - did not want elders leaning DOWN to pat a pug)... I got both from Craigslist, and they had been CHILD strollers, so they had sit up and lay down options, and their wheels "locked" for safety, and the second one even "kicked" into a folded up position for transporting...
So, no brand name here, just a source idea.
(We love Vince's Butt too.)
