Noah the 15 year old
Noah was a 15 year old that was dumped at the local shelter, as an owner surrender. When the shelter called us about him, they weren't optimistic, as they said he had bloody diarrhea and was not doing well (duh). They transported him to our vet, where this little guy has spent the last week or so. After many tests, and a much needed dental....he's actually in great shape. The only thing they could find was a touch of arthritis. We believe it was the stress and crappy food causing his issues, since he's been good ever since. Anyways, after seeing this face, I was in love (as were many other people ). This past couple of weeks have been extremely busy for me, but I was planning on getting him tomorrow to foster him. Well, when another board member was there yesterday to let them know he'd be sprung tomorrow, we found out one of the vet techs there was in love with him. She put in an app, and she is now doing a trial adoption with him. However, if it doesn't work out for any reason, I'm still plan b!

Noah!! Love this old guy! So glad SNPR was able to step in for him, and of course someone would fall in love so quickly.
Re: Noah the 15 year old
Hooray for that tech! She'll have access to the medical care he'll end up needing along the way due to his age. Awesome!

I jsut don't understand how somebody could give up on a family member because they're old. He's a great looking guy with prospects for a much better life.

Noah is a lovely looking oldster. My grand pug Zeke is 10 and has a face almost that gray.

Re: Noah the 15 year old
Dumping a young, easy-to-adopt dog at a shelter is bad enough, I just can't begin to fathom how someone could drop off one so senior. Blows my mind. Thankfully it's all good from here on in! Bless his heart, he looks like he knows life has just made a huge and dramatic turn for the better!

What a beautiful boy. I love the seniors. My girls are 14 and 11 and I just love them to death. I would probably die to have a young one in the house.
I will always be a home for the seniors. They are so loveable and only want love, good food and a warm/cool bed and a nice lap!

I am fostering a 2 year old bundle of energy right now & while he's fun at times, he's driving my old timers crazy! Good thing he'll be adopted quick.
Noah is super adorable and what a lucky guy to get adopted so quickly!

He's been adopted by her, and is doing great. He was sick a couple weeks ago, but it was just an URI.
