Due to a tremendous influx of good adoptive homes, as of last week Polar Pug Rescue only had 4 dogs. Well.. that sure changed in a hurry.

I'll post pics tonight when I get home, but we just took in:

  • Gracie & Gabby- A pair of girl pugs 6 & 8 yrs of age. we'll adopt them out together
  • Tahku- An 8 yr old boy pug. (edited: Dayna, wait until you see this guy! He looks like your Bear!) I am hoping to foster him. He just got in Wednesday and is getting vet-checked tomorrow.
  • A black pom named Chachi. He had a horrible eye, which has since been taken out. (Good thing we had a garage sale...) Sigh...
  • Snap- a female min-pin who is as smart as a whip! I like her name.
  • Duke- A long-haired chihuahua with the sweetest personality I've ever seen. he doesn't seem to know he's a chihuahuah, and so doesn't act like one. LOL
  • Romeo- A peke with a hind-end problem. He's getting checked tomorrow (Friday). He's a love!! I think the foster home he might be placed with won't let him go again.
  • Koby- a sturdy Yorkie. (So many Yorkies bred up here are too small, sturdy is good). He's already neutered and has that bright-eyed Yorkie personality. He will go quickly.

I'll be busy updating websites tonight! And I'll put some pics here also.
we are know known as Poalr Pug Rescue & Friends. LOL

Maryjo - I was counting pugs vs. friends in that list. LOL It's wonderful that you guys are able to help these little ones out with medical care and finding forever homes.

Dayna is Bear's mom. She's on PA, but doesn't often. I'll nudge her on FB and tell her to check back if you're able to post pics. Plethora of rescues (for us)... Icon_biggrin

I just edited my post. My brain is dead and I just remembered who Bear's mama is. LOL

I'll post pics tonight!

Although I did upload Tahku's pic on this computer, so maybe I'll put it on FB right now. Plethora of rescues (for us)... Icon_biggrin

Gosh, Maryjo, that's quite an influx of dogs all at once. Tahku looks like a real character, and I love Romeo the Peke's dear little face. Plethora of rescues (for us)... 335895 And I can quite see why you are now called Polar Pug Rescue and Friends!
