Neck bones? Empty Neck bones?

I read neck bones are okay to give pugs. I bought some turkey necks at the store and was wondering if you give them thawed or frozen? Also wanted to make sure they were okay to give the pugs. Thanks!

Make sure you give them raw, and I would do partially frozen, so they stay cold as your pug is eating them. I give them outside, because it makes a mess. My pugs love chicken necks, and there is a store here in town where I can get chicken feet! They love those feet.

Thanks, Renee. They have chicken feet at the meat market too, but they gross me out a wee bit. I don't know if I could stomach watching them gnaw on those or not. Neck bones? 19458

I feed my girls chicken neck as part of their diet but I grind them. Only because they don't chew...at all.....and I'm terrified of them choking. But, they are ok to give to the pugs. Neck bones? Icon_biggrin
