I made the local paper!

I was the chair to a recent fundraiser for our local humane society called Art Saves Animals, it was right up my alley.
Myself and another couple got local artist to donate art then we had a big opening, I laid the show out got my husband and a friend to hang it.
The had the best year yet, they raised a little over 20K.
It was a great night. The pic is myself and the other couple who helped.
Here we are, I'm on the right!

Thanks, it was a lot of work but so worth it, the day was really stormy so we were afraid lots of people would not show up, but luckily the ones who did spent money. It's not a pug resuce but still a great cause, my first animal came from the shelter that I did it for, so as far as I was concerned I owned them.
Roxane, I would move to CA in a heartbeat if I could leave my life here.

That is A LOT of money and for a great great cause. I mean not everything has to be pugs, all kinds of creatures need help and money. That is amazing, you should be really proud.
